A shoutout to all D/T fans. [14 Nov 2009|02:39pm] direngrey_yaoi [fonulyn] [ mood | hungry ] Hopefully this isn't against the community rules, but I checked and I think it still goes :) I have a question for you. The thing is, as some of you might've noticed, that the Die/Toshiya(/Toshiya/Die) fandom seems to be completely in a standstill. There only seems to be two or three active writers and readers, and the existing communities are more silent than an average graveyard. So we (we being me, seinen_no and daidetre) were discussing the matter and decided we would want to try revive the fandom a bit, to give it something like a nudge and to try activate people to share the love more. We discussed different possibilities, and in the end we only came up with one thing we could do; creating a new community for the pairing. We would try to create a welcoming atmosphere and make people feel free to share every kind of thoughts and fanworks circling around Die and Toshiya. This is not an attempt to attack the existing communities or directed in any way against them. It is simply an attempt to show love, and to activate people to share this with us. So now, I would ask you all to take a second of your time to vote in the poll :) If no one else than the three of us wants a new community, we will step back. But if there is interest coming from anyone of you, we will go ahead with our plan and proceed it. So every single vote counts, and would be much appreciated! Requesting help finding Fic [13 Nov 2009|11:51pm] ffvii_yaoi [rsasai] About six months ago, I read a fic that was part of the FFVII kink meme. It was "Sephiroth/Cloud WWII Nazi Germany." What I remember is that there were two parts: The first part where Sephiroth and Cloud have sex, and knowing that the war is lost, Sephiroth kills Cloud and himself. The second part is Vincent searching for Sephiroth. He is helped by Genesis (who was a Russian that betrayed his country) and is sent off. Genesis is killed for treason. College shit [14 Nov 2009|12:12am] tofu_queen [ mood | and it's past midnight!!!! ] [ music | Yann Tiersen ] I hauled my ass down to the counseling services like a good student to get all my transfer credits for Buff State. And got a blank stare and then got shot down for my idea of going for a teaching degree. So then like the good adaptable student I am, I said that that was okay because I wouldn't mind editing! But then that got shot down because I just didn't like the program. I want to edit because I can't write for shit but from all those years of writing I am able to grammatically navigate my way through writing. So why am I still forced to write? Fuck that. So then showing how ultra-adaptable I am, I decided to go with double major in history and English. And then as I was writing out terms to memorize for my English test I realized how much I didn't want to have to read Oedipus and Shakespeare and all that boring/incomprehensible/completely uninteresting/I hate it stuff so I narrowed it down to history. And history it shall stay. Although if my future decisions (or lack of??) are anything like today's I will most likely be majoring in porn and dying my hair blonde because that's what Toby did. you know how I feel
